Among Friends is a recording I accomplished in the 1990’s, more than thirty years ago. It has not been previously released, but sounds fresh and wonderful. It features two of my most beloved musical partners, vocalist Fay Whitaker and cellist Chris White. I gathered both of my cherished musical friends together, borrowed a DAT recorder, a mixer, and some mikes from Berklee College of Music where I was a Professor in the Harmony Department, and recorded with them in my living room. This music was recorded by an amateur (myself). It amazes me, considering my inexperience as an engineer, but it has been mastered for sound by John Mailloux at Bongo Beach Productions and it sounds fantastic.
